Tasks:

  • Read, highlight, annotate all 3 pieces (IDENTIFY > EXAMPLE)

Here is an analysis of the McManus stand alone image:

  • Put into an ORGANISTIONAL TABLE (EXAMINE > EFFECT) – once you have done this, SHARE your work with the person sitting next to you

 

FIRST:

  • CHOOSE the persuasive techniques that you are going to concentrate on; reorganise your plt’s in priority order (from table) – this is the basis for your skeleton plan

NEXT:

  • DEVELOP a SKELETON PLAN for a response to the articles/stand alone photo

THEN:

  • WRITE up an INTRODUCTION for your analysis
  • If possible SHARE this with the person sitting next to you

NB: This work needs to be completed by the end of the double session, if not it needs to finished off for homework

  • WRITE up your draft conclusion
  • CONFERENCE this with at least one other person
  • RE-DRAFT your conclusion as a result of the peer conferencing

EXTENSION ACTIVITY – PRACTICE ANALYSIS TASK:

  • From the work that you have done on this particuclar issue, write up a practice response; putting together your introductions, body paragraphs and conclusions
