Here are some protocols to follow when quoting lines of poetry from Skrzynecki’s poems:
When quoting lines of poetry you need to include the line breaks.
EG:
In ‘Postcard’ Skrzynecki explores the dilemma he faces in balancing his past with his present/future exemplified in “I never knew you/let me be”.
OR
When Skrzynecki writes in ‘Postcard’:
“…I never knew you.
let me be”
he is exploring the dilemma he faces in balancing his past with his present/future.
